The Azar series of grammar books is my absolute favorite!

In the Fundamentals of English Grammar text book you will find clear explanations and examples of each grammar function in every chapter. In the Workbook, you will have the opportunity to practice more grammar exercises than are in the textbook. This particular edition is geared towards intermediate learners.

The Azar series of books is designed for students learning English as second language, but American teachers or home school parents can use it to help understand the more intricate nuances of our language. This series is available in both an American version and an International version for those overseas pupils. I hope you find the series as helpful as I do.
