ABOUT TO

"Be about to" means that something will happen in a minute or two from now.
A) "be" changes to match the subject: I am, you are, he is, etc.
B) "about to" is always followed by a simple verb.
about to go, about to leave, about to eat dinner, etc.
-EXAMPLES-
SITUATION: Jack and Sue are putting their coats on.
They are about to leave.
SITUATION: Mark is holding his car keys next to his car.
Mark is about to go to the store.
