Causatives 1 - HAVE / ACTIVE

Causatives are a common sentence structure in English. 
They are used when a person causes another person to do something.

(change verb form as necessary)

Use the causative [HAVE] when person A wants person B to do something:

I'm going to have the mechanic repair my car.
(Meaning: I want my car to be repaired by a mechanic.)

My English teacher will have me give a speech tomorrow.
(Meaning: My teacher wants me to give a speech tomorrow.)
